Excellent fresh seafood. The blackened Shrimp is the very best I have ever eaten. I also love the mullet spread. Great prices for a waterfront seafood place!

Came back again this week. Had Stone Crab Claw app, very very good, average price for the area. Had shrimp again, very good also. Hush Puppies were good as well as the slaw. Service was fast & friendly as usual. The Snow Birds will be showing up soon, God bless'em! And filling our favorite places to eat but will still try to get in when I want good, fresh seafood.

Had a great late Friday afternoon happy hour with some old friends. Loaded up on appetizers including stone crab claws that were spankin' fresh and every bit as good as Joe's. Garlic crab claws were tasty but beware if you are not a garlic lover. Beer was cold, and a shout to Robert for a job well done.

After reading some of the reviews we thought this would be a great place for dinner. As a party of six we had the worst experience. One of our party didn't get their dinner till the other five of us were nearly finished. The drinks were awful. I would never recommend this place.

We were a party of 6 for dinner last night. 3 ordered combo dinners and 3 ordered shrimp or a fish dinner. The amount of seafood in the combo dinner was much less than the amount of seafood in the one seafood dinner. One order had been incorrectly made so he had to wait for meal to be remade while the rest of us ate. Food was okay. If we ever went back it would be for the grilled shrimp - not any combo. Service was okay

After three weeks in Ft. Myers the absolute worst dining experience we have had. Don't waste your time and your money!!!!!

Pretty view of river. Dark & Dismal inside & dirty feeling. Bartender is terrible - bad attitude & couldn't make a Mahattan or they just water down the drinks. Manager is the worse. Waitress volunteered happy hour price 5 minutes before time. After bill was presented, irate manager said because it's on the computer, they don't honor what waitress says. Manager and staff were complaining loudly about their diners outside - we were inside and heard the entire session. Sour cream and 'buttery taste spread' are rationed & served in little packets. Chef does a good job on the fish and fried scallops. Scallops were lightly battered and fried to perfection, our herb crusted flounder was good and done nicely. Hush puppies were good too. Told the manager to keep the $2 and use it to purchase much needed sponges and soap to clean the place.

Celebrating my wife's birthday and she wanted to come to Three Fishermen, located at the Best Western in North Fort Myers, FL. We really enjoyed it! I had fried cat fish and it was super. They served three filets and it was plenty. My wife had red snapper and it was prepared just right. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious. We sat on the "porch" outside on a rainy night. They had lowered the clear plastic curtains due to the rain and of course some old lady had to smoke. It has been a long time since I had to smell disgusting smoke while trying to eat. The server was friendly and helpful. Service was good and it was a nice evening except for poor lady who had to ruin meals for others by smoking. I felt bad for her and her painful addiction, and her complete lack of regard for others. Otherwise it was good.

Saw the place on the news so had to stop in. Had the gator bites and frog legs. Gator bites were good the frog legs were a bit under cooked and needed some seasoning. Sat out on the left side had no I deal why the kitchen almost seems to be in the middle of the floor plan. And did not care for the waitress yelling orders back and forth to each other and telling each other when the next meeting was. I didn't want to know.

Don't go I spent $120 on the most waste of time to eat something that tasted so fishy like it had been in the grease they had been using for a week. Everything tasted the same and my drink was just thrown together and way to sweet and no selection for kids or just to eat and they were out of everything. Just a run down place. Don't waste ur money. Please....

The last night in town for our visitors. Should have gone to another seafood restaurant. This week we went to a number of seafood restaurants, including the Fort Myers Beach Seafood Festival, and the truck vendors were better than the North Fort Myers 3 Fishermen restaurant. The waitress was a "smart-aleck" surly person who had no time to answer questions or interest. Never brought table service to the table, had to find it myself. Ordered the Captain's plate times 3 and all were over done and soaked in old grease. I had the "grilled" Captain's plate and received 4 small shrimp, 2 scallops, 2 oysters and 3 bites of fish, with 1 deviled crab cake. Value for the $18.95 would have been better at Joe's Crab Shack across the bay. The kitchen staff delivering the food could not identify the fried seafood to tell us which plate had oysters (it all looked like fried balls of food). Fort Myers the home of the gulf shrimp boat fleet and we got 4 small shrimp. I got much better seafood off the food truck at the Festival and would have gotten a dozen at the Lion's official tent for $15.00, nice big plump pick gulf shrimp. For a local restaurant, the 3 Fishermen, must have bought their seafood in Chicago.

Ashley was our server. Food was great and the service rocked. Highly recommended. Cold beer...mmmmm. Buy a T-shirt!

This is a low key restaurant with rough wooden tables and a limited menu but with a spectacular view of the bay. We came for one thing only - trying alligator. As we we didn't know what to expect we chose the fried alligator for a starter. The starter was a plate full of small deep fried pieces of alligator. The taste was overtaken by the deep fry so any specific alligator taste was hard to identify. But, the texture was very clear, like a mix of fish and chicken. It is serving alligator and the view that are reasons to come here. Unfortunately the rest of the meal was pretty tasteless and overcooked.

I was hoping for more.... Party of adults and kids. I ordered one of the house specials, Grouper stuffed with crab meat topped with jack cheese. $19 entree. This thing came out in a small dish and looked like a microwave meal. All you saw was two slices of cheese melted on top and I didn't even know what I was eating beneath it. Wife had fish tacos...filled mainly with cheese. Kids meals were just ok. Lots of the sides seemed like canned foods. Fried pickles were tasty... Location is what makes me give this a 2 overall as it's a pretty nice setting by the river and bridge. Ratings (out of 5) Food = 2 stars Service = 3 stars Location = 3 stars Pricing = 1 star

Best view in Fort Myers. Great shrimp and fish tacos and friendly service. The gator bites were quite tasty and light.

Live nearby and this was the first time visiting. The food quality is that of a low-end seafood chain restaurant. The food was over-cooked, greasy and very unremarkable. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We arrived at Three Fishermen on Friday evening. Walking it, the restaurant smelled very fishy which can sometimes be expected at such an establishment. The hostess was very pleasant and seated us on the covered patio; the patio was filled with young kids and was dirty. Once we were finally waited on, we placed our order and waited approximately 25 minutes for our food. We ordered the fishermen platter and another platter. Our waitress was very rude and did not possess any sort of people skills. The food we received was over-cooked, greasy and of poor quality. The food was the equivalent of a Captain D's or Long John Silver; I hate to even compared it to those because on a good day, either two other restaurants could outperform Three Fishermen. The drinks was watered as well. I like to give every restaurant the benefit of the doubt but the food & service both was very poor.

Nice view...but that's about it. This is not the place if you're looking for fine quality food. If you're interested in a beer and something to nibble on....maybe. New England Clam Chowder was incredibly salty....shrimp over grits was horrid. They used some type of canned tomato sauce that was terrible. My wife had heart burn all night and she only had shrimp over a house salad...go figure! When leaving, I had to say "Thank you" to our waitress 3 times in order to get her head out of her cell phone. Won't return again.

I am visiting for work from North Florida and had heard good things about this place. The website and menu looked good, so i drove the 15 minutes from my hotel to try it. I was seated promptly by a nice lady. I looked over the menu, decided what i wanted, and waited to be approached. I sat there for 15 minutes with my menu on the table, looking at staff members, hoping for attention. One server walked past my table 4 times without even looking at me. Another went to the table behind me twice, but not me. Both of them made eye contact with me more than once from the computer station, but no one said a word to me. I walked out. NOT a good way to get or keep business.

We stopped for lunch at the waterfront location. It was not easy to find; we had to return across the bridge, we thought the GPS had to be wrong...the restaurant is nestled on the bay at The Best Western. I had my first shrimp tacos, yummy! Husband had a catfish fillet. Totally enjoyed our meal. Smoked fish dip with a container "to go." It's worth seeking this out!

We invited some friends there who were down from Pittsburg they loved the food and the glorious view. We have enjoyed most every thing they have to offer. It is simple strait forward fare and very popular with locals. We avoid the busy times in season or go in very early to grab a waterfront table. Fun for the kids too - just supervise them when they are on the dock.

I've been there a few times. Love it. Always accommodating. Alissa and Lauren take great care of us. We go just to see Alissa (the bar tender) and have one of her strawberry mojitos. They are the bomb. Best bartender around. Also, the peel and eat shrimp are super tasty and the kitchen staff is really nice. Every time I've been in, they come out and say hi to people eating there and check on the food.

Who knows what the food tastes like? We waited 20 minutes for service, and we were told someone would be with us. We watched the waitresses congregate and chat-- too interested in their conversation to take our order. It was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was 1/3 full. We will never go back.

Just finished supper, shrimp and scallops were pretty good, fish tacos ok not the best but not the worst, mom had the whole catfish and gave it a 2 out of 5 said it was bland due to the size, they were too big , what we call sharpies about 4-5 inch long are the best to eat, I gave them a star just because they have yuengling on draft! We will probably come back in the future and try them again!

Where do I start? We were in town looking for a fun place on the water for lunch. We found fun, a great view on the water, very good service (our waitress, carissa, was great, energetic and friendly) and horrible food. We ordered the blackened shrimp and blackened fish tacos. Both orders came slathered in melted cheese and very salty. The side salad was boring and the vegetable was microwaved canned green beans. Come on. Put some effort into it.. would not recommend for food but the drink specials were good

My girlfriend, two friends, and I went out for a night of good seafood. We are from Michigan and visiting for spring break. We came at around 9pm and found no trouble getting seated. None of us know much about seafood so we all ended up ordering the Captain Paul's stuffed grouper (I think that was the name of it). We were presented with what amounted to fish, craw dad, and stuffing and cheese lasagna. I expected a stuffed fish with crab and light cheese, as the description said, but did not receive it. It was all right, but not worth the $20 price tag. I don't really get how we were served what I am 100% sure was prawn meet when we were supposed to get crab. I'll admit that I don't know much about seafood, but the fish may not have been grouper for all I know. Tl;dr Was kind of disappointed, did not feel like my meal was what I was told I was paying for. Did not think my meal was worth the $40 I paid.

3 stars only because I was disappointed in the fish tacos. Service was fantastic, the beers were cold but the blackened fish tacos were rather plain they seemed to similar to a cheese quesadilla with some fried fish. Yes, was disappointed but my wife had the cheese shrimp & grits and loved them. We both enjoyed the side salads for a little extra. The view is fantastic & I will come hear again

The best Manhattan clam chowder I have had in ages and awesome oysters on the half shell. Not the cheapest place but for food this delicious, well worth it. The service was excellent (thank you, Brianna), the drinks were good. We sat outside and it was just perfect. I am keeping this place on my list of must do agains for the next time I visit Fort Myers. Maybe then can open one in Fort Lauderdale.

I was staying at the Best Western on the same property and had looked up this Restaurant. I also belong to a group on Facebook that highly recommend this place so it was a no brainer. I have very special diet restrictions and my sever Carrie was the best. Everything I asked for she was able to accommodate. I like that you get a choice of portion size. So much so that I went back the next night. The food was very good and the view was outstanding even though the weather was not very cooperative. When I go back to the area I will definitely go back.

Here is my 2 cents on the food. The fish was fabulous. I had fried cat fish, grilled haddock & blacken tilapia. All were piping hot and cooked to perfection. I thought the blacken could be more spicy but that's me. The sides of green beans & cole slaw were great. I also loved the hush puppies that came with each round.. You must try the made on premise sweet tea. Outstanding. Now chit chat. During the off season on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday for $13.99 you ask for all you can eat fish. It not on the menu and sometimes the server do not always inform you of this. It is advertise in local papers but not widely. You get a choice of about 4-5 different fish. Plus 3-4 ways of preparations. You get great hush puppies and a choice or 2 sides. The server are great and attentive. Plus the view of the river is exciting. You can also berth your dingy outside the eatery. 3 Fishermen are located in the Best Western Hotel off of N. Cleveland near the IHOP.. Over all a great meal and good experience again.

The food was ok; the service was ok; the atmosphere was divey but the location and view of the water was spectacular. What are the owners of this place thinking? This place needs a total gut - right down to re-working the music selections ("Lucretia McEvil" by Blood Sweat and Tears was playing today. I would have thought this number would have been banned long ago by SeriusXM - yuck!). The place was dirty and dingy; sticky tables and dark carpeted floors; the wait staff had an annoying habit of yelling at each other from across the room and our table was completely forgotten at the end of the meal (not a best practice given this is the time the patron is considering the tip). Has potential, but as yet, unrealized.

Food was a-maz-ing! Wait staff wonderful. Clean restrooms. Bar staff....SUCKED! So rude. The bar tender felt we did not tip enough. So as we left she called us over and gave us our tip back. That takes the cake. We tiped over 50% on our dinner bill. So left 10% on our drinks. We were not drinking anything hard to make. So sad won't ever be back. 5 stars for food and wait staff. - 5 for bar staff.

My first time there. Had a coke and fried cat fish off the lunch menu. Was short on money so I ordered a salad with my meal only to find out the salad was extra. You got two sides but it was the coleslaw that was not extra and I had french fries. The food was good. Great view from inside to outside. Place was a bit drab. Help was somewhat friendly. Was rushed a bit by staff. Overall we had 6 people and we all got what we ordered. But they did not come around to check our drinks. Restrooms are outside. If you eat outside dress cool and be ready for the breeze off the water. I would go again prices are reasonable along with portions.
